The bespoke nature of this project involved a lot of time and planning as most of the fittings and fixtures were made to order. We also had to meet the immense building requirements involving electricity, drainage, and health and safety, that resulted from including the F&B café within the retail environment. Our team rose to the challenge and worked around the clock to bring this remarkable collaborative customer space to life.

 

We also decided to make the most of the store location to increase footfall and maximise sales by directing the customer journey right from the mall. We achieved this by removing all the walls of the individual units and barriers near the entrance to allow customers to walk into the store naturally and seamlessly.

 

While we did retain elements of the building’s original architecture like the six metre open ceiling and beam columns, we re-designed all the walls to have a marble paint effect which blended across the store. This was perfectly complimented by the resin-chic polished concrete finish floors that offered a unique colour balance that further enhanced the industrial style décor of the store.
