Weber Shandwick
Consult and Design
The interior project for Weber Shandwick, an advertising agency located at MCN Hives in Tecom, Dubai, required a meticulous approach to transform their existing office space. The primary goal was to create an open office environment with minimal partitions, maximizing the use of the 5400 sq.ft. floor area. The design phase began with a comprehensive consultation, understanding the client's needs for an open workspace that promotes collaboration. Our design team strategically planned the layout to align with the building's curve, allocating closed offices and meeting rooms to both ends of the floor. This arrangement effectively avoided any negative spaces and ensured a seamless flow throughout the office.
Manage and build
The manage and build phase spanned 10 weeks, focusing on the intricate transformation of the office space. The construction team worked diligently to bring the design to life, starting with the welcoming reception area featuring a display back wall with floating shelves. The middle portion of the office was converted into an open working area with collaboration desks and workstation tables, fostering a dynamic and interactive environment. A standout feature of the office is the co-interactive area with a screen, furnished with a two-tier stage seating that incorporates the brand colors through the cushion colors. Linear lighting was installed in the open areas, while spotlights were used in the closed spaces, ensuring optimal illumination throughout the office.
The New Space
The newly transformed office space of Weber Shandwick is a testament to effective interior fitout in Dubai. The open working area, coupled with strategically placed closed offices, creates a balanced environment that promotes both collaboration and focused work. The use of wooden-look ceramic tiles throughout the office adds a touch of warmth, while the predominantly black and white joinery makes the yellow accents pop, creating a vibrant yet professional atmosphere. The co-interactive area with stage seating serves as a focal point, encouraging teamwork and creative brainstorming sessions. This project not only meets the functional requirements but also enhances the aesthetic appeal, making it a perfect blend of form and function.
